Build a working website in your browser
The Casso builder needs JavaScript. Here is what it does, so you can decide whether to turn it on.
You describe the site you want in a sentence or two. Casso builds it and puts it live, usually in a couple of minutes, at its own address ending in .bycasso.com. You can then keep talking to it — change the wording, swap a photo, add a page — and the live site updates.
What the sites can actually do
These are on the free plan. The paid plan raises the limits; it does not unlock the features.
- A contact form that emails you. Visitors can attach a photo or a PDF to it.
- Member accounts. People sign up with an email and a password and see their own information and nobody else's.
- Saved data you can edit yourself, so prices, opening hours or a menu are not baked into the page.
- Calls to another service using an API key you supply, which Casso stores encrypted and never shows back to itself.
What it cannot do
Casso cannot take card payments on your site, and it cannot store a visitor's uploaded file for other visitors to download — an attached file is delivered to your inbox, not hosted.
What it costs
The website and its hosting on a .bycasso.com address are free, and the hosting stays free. A one-time $99 upgrade per site connects a domain name you own, raises the backend limits and adds 10,000 credits.
If you would rather not use the builder
Casso works entirely over email as well. Write to casso@casso-websites.com describing the site you want, and it replies with a link to the finished thing. Neither way is better; they reach the same product.
